AND WHY I BECAME A COACH
Let me put my story in a very small nutshell.
While I was studying Fine Arts I got scouted and starting modelling. I have been in the industry for a couple of years now and through this I’ve been exposed to all different types of people from all walks of life and something I realized on this journey is that no matter how different we are, we all struggle with similar issues, negative beliefs and insecurities that hold us back in life.
I was very saddened by the insecurities that the people in this industry face as one would think that being young, having great physical features and having your whole life ahead of you would make you happy right? Well not at all! Having a great exterior doesn’t take away inner problems.
In this industry, you get judged, criticised and you never feel good enough, but I realised that its not just in this industry but in life in general. We compete and compare, we try to fit in and we don’t live our highest joy or the authentic lives we should be living.
I’ve always found myself giving advice to younger models and what I discovered is that I have the ability to see in others what they cannot see in themselves and that when this is revealed to them, they are set free and they excel in every area of their lives. It was when I witnessed this that I found my passion for helping and inspiring others and this is why I decided to become a coach.
I’ve discovered first hand that your happiness lies within yourself regardless of anything external or anything material and I truly encountered so much joy by helping others realize this truth. My aim is now to inspire, encourage and set people free.
